Greensboro, NC

Many times I have flied from the east coast to the west coast in USA, I always stop to change my flights at North Carolina airport. I didn’t realize that I had an old friend who was studying at North Carolina university in Greensboro. After I went to Kentucky for July4th 2007, she called me, and I pointed out that Greensboro is my next destination to visit!

It was not a good time to visit my friend when she had final exam. I had been waiting for her to pick me up at the airport for a long time, yet most of my trip was pretty lonely because she was so busy doing her final project. i started my trip by having some breakfast at Cheesecake by Alex. It was a wonderful meal even though I had a couple things for my meal. I had been walking around University of North carolina, Greensboro for a few hours, then I was walking to Historical museum which is not too far from the university. I didn't pay any money for entering the museum. This museum is small, quiet, and old. I had been exploring this place for a little while, and then I walked to local restaurant around downtown to get my lunch ( I don't remember the name of it, but it was japanese restaurant that was so nice and inexpensive).

I walked pass Wrangler building, it is the jeans company that influence many people to wear them. I ended up at the central library, relaxing and waiting for my friend to pick me up.

At night, we went to Thai restaurant that my friends had worked during her summer break. It wasn't far from her apartment, we walked there only 10 minutes. Before going to sleep, we had a small party with her roommates, they brought some beers and alcohols for us.

I wish I could go back there again, I remembered how nice of the people when I got lost. They tried to help me find the direction:)

Atlanta, GA

In the beginning of the year 2008 I got invited from my old friend to visit her in Atlanta, GA.
I was so excited because I have never been there, besides it has a giant CNN TV station that people can visit to see how this TV broadcasting works. In my opinion, Georgia was only a small state which located in the south west of USA. But as soon as I got there, my thought was absolutely wrong! Atlanta was such a busy city that has many tourists and cool places.
Even though I spent time in GA only 3 days, I have gained a lot of things there.
The first day, my friend and I went to CNN. It is a huge station which has its own building in downtown. The tour guide had been showing us around major studios, I already got tired since the first 10 minutes.
We spent time in the building about 2 hours, then we walked across the street to see Olympic park. It used to be an area for Olympic games form many years ago.
Day 2, we went to Coca-Cola (coke) museum. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to see the original one because it was closed. I went to the new one which is nicer and bigger, but I still wanted to see the first one. before leaving the museum, at the exit area has a ton of Coca-cola flavor sodas drinks which provide tourists to taste them.
Late afternoon, we were walking around downtown and had some good Thai food at a Thai restaurant ( I forgot the name)
At night, we went out to a night club which is near Atlanta Art Museum. People here were so nice to me, they were so relaxed and friendly.
Day 3, I just had time in the morning to go shopping at the outlet, we spent time only a few hours before heading to the airport.
However I didn't have much time for this trip, I had so much fun and took many great photos:)
Thank you for inviting me Porn, you are my best friend forever.
With love,
Birdie

KABIRD

Welcome to my journey!

I'm a tiny artist who love traveling and taking a photo. I have visited 33 states in USA in 4 years. Most of my trips, I have spent time on my own exploring this giant land. I do sometimes drawing, painting and writing the places that I have been. Life is so short, I prefer to be a creative and positive thinking person that could make the world more lovely.
I am from Thailand, the land of smile which is located in South east Asia.
Every time I go to new places that I have never been, I feel my heart beats, my eyes wild open, and my ears are ready to listen to any sound.
Traveling is not just for fun for me, it is my life, my soul, and my dream. I have seen good and bad things in the world which teach me how to adjust myself for living.
Thus, Anything I have seen and learned, I'd rather to print them out via pictures. My lovely buddy that I always take it with me is Nikon D40X. It is tiny( like me), comfortable, adorable and smart! I won't miss any great experience in my long journey.
